Oil Creek State Park features 70 miles of hiking trails near Oil City, PA.

Directions

oil creek park is north of oil city on rt 8 , it is also on many maps how to get there so if my directions aren't good then try getting a map.

once you get to Oil City ( lots of places to eat ) ( and july is oil heratige week very busy for a smal town ) you want to drive north on rt 8 driving towards titusville, you will get about 10 miles or so out of oil city ( i think it's about that ) and you'll be going through rouseville ( pennsoil refinnery area, and you'll hit a light towards the end of that refinnery area, go straight as i doubt you'll know the back way through plumber, so once you go straight it will take you over a hill and at the bottom there is a set of railroad tracks, keep going a lil bit further and you'll see a twisty curvy road coming out of the woods and a sign for oil creek park to your right, take that, it drive through country twisty roa**o watch out for deer and other critters. once you get down the road you'll come to a 4 way and you'll also see a bridge, go towards the bridge and there is a main office for the park and plenty of parking, there is also a OC & T train that runs through the historical area were oil was first found in our country, but also a paved bike trail. I think most of you want the wooded trails so, if you pretty much ride down any of the roads in the area, you will find a large amount of single track and some double track trails. some are kinda extreme and some are kinda technical and yet others are kinda tame. i do believe the office has some maps of these trails?
